Sessions are ideal for the experienced singer: someone who already has a handle of using their voice and music, but who is wanting a different kind of approach to find ways to go further. Working with me is really complementary to your current vocal lessons!
Sessions are tailored to each student. Whether you’re an operatic soprano, bass, musical theatre singer, the lead singer of a jazz band, folks duo, pop singer, and everything in between, together, we'll work with the complexities of your personal voice, refining technique, and allowing vocal freedom that will help you to find new ways of expressing through song. It’s not some kind of miracle - it’s a collab, where we work together to help you manage your voice and the muscles in your vocal tract in new and exciting ways! If you’re just starting out, but still want this kind of nuanced and detailed approach, don’t fret! I meet all singers where they are at. Sessions will help you bring new techniques and a new handle of your voice to be able to tackle any repertoire you’re looking to accomplish!
Are you working through a vocal injury or are worried about recurring vocal injuries? I’m on the case! 1:1 Sessions can have a rehabilitation focus to get you back on your feet (or your voice!) after all sorts of vocal related injuries such as chronic reflux, vocal nodules (nodes), paralyzed vocal folds, laryngitis, or anyone with rehabilitation needs! Ouch. But don’t worry! Any rehabilitation occurs through using our voice IN music - we always go beyond theory and move into practice.
Packages are available for singers looking to build a routine! It’s up to you. Whether you’re coming week to week from September to June, wanting sessions through the summer months, or are hoping to check in once and a while for a tune up, our work together will go at whatever pace you’re comfortable with!

While I love working 1:1, I also offer lectures or workshops to choral groups, choirs, voice students, or other groups of singers! In these spaces, we dive into the technical aspects of how sound forms in the body and the pedagogy behind the voice. Similar to what I teach in the 1:1 format, singers taking workshops will gain valuable knowledge of their instrument in a broader sense, adding a great deal of value and skill to the group.
On January 18th, 2025 join me for The Voice Workshop - A community of singers, voice teachers, collaborative pianists, and choral conductors coming together to learn and grow together with one common interest. The voice! A professional development opportunity in a supportive environment.

If you’re interested in the workshop format, but want something a little more long term and focused, I also offer intensives! These run weekly for 4-8 weeks with a particular area of focus.
Most recently, I was thrilled to partner with Evan Watts Smith on our Vocal Musical Theatre Intensive, which was a huge success! In a collaboration with highly complementary skills, we offered different approaches to assist participants in accessing the emotion of the piece while allowing the voice do what it needs to do technically. A match made in heaven!

Attention Voice Teachers and Vocal Coaches! Are you interested in finding ways to broaden your ability to teach technique? Are you excited (but maybe a little intimidated!) by vocal pedagogy and practices which intricately use the musculature of the voice to produce sound that is free yet controlled?
Join me for a voice teacher retreat! Over the course of 3 days, we’ll dive into these specialized practices, to develop your toolkit so you can help bring these skills and this knowledge to your student’s work and repertoire.
This is technique with a practical edge - we don’t separate our understanding of singing and the body, and we aren’t looking externally to access what we need to do internally to achieve absolute freedom of sound. Sharing this knowledge is my passion - I hope to share with you!

At a Master’s level, her course had a delicate balance of informative and professional lectures while maintaining a safe, open environment to discuss real-life experiences and ask questions.
